John Thompson, III, Owner
John Thompson started roofing as a laborer in Ames Iowa in 2010. John worked his way up from ground clean up to installer/equipment operator. In 2013 John founded Thompson Roofing & Reconstruction in the Lake of the Ozarks area after attending business classes at Des Moines Area Community College. John is a 3rd generation business owner in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Having a passion for business and helping others John has launched his re-build Missouri Campaign geared and focused on reconstructing homes and businesses in the state of Missouri after storm events.

Lance Kemp, Project Manager
Lance enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is avid about cars and riding motorcycles with free time he has available. Lance came from the oil industry before being hired on as a project manager with Thompson Roofing & Reconstruction.

Richard Stringham, Field Supervisor
Richard is our field supervisor which means he spends a lot of his time going from job site to job site. He is responsible for running materials to the crew, inspecting repairs and removing materials from the properties.
In Richard’s down time, he enjoys motorsports, fishing, hiking and spending time with his son Jayden.

Jacob Vorhees, Project Manager
Jacob enjoys staying in shape so you can typically find him at the gym if not working. Outside of the gym, Jacob enjoys hiking, sightseeing, nature photography, traveling and visiting Texas for family.
